6-10 season that featured starts at QB by forgettables Anthony Dilweg and Blair Kiel for an injured Don Majkowski.  With the exception of a 31-0 week 15 drubbing at the hands of Randall Cunningham, Reggie White and the Eagles, the Packers were competitive in every contest.  But key injuries (Majkowski, stalwart OT Ken Ruettgers and steady LB Brian Noble missed starts), an anemic running game (not-so-legendary Michael Haddix led the way with 311 yards), and high expectations based on the previous season's thrills ('89 was the year of the "Cardiac Pack") were too much for that team to overcome.

Brett, please give Aaron Rodgers a chance. Never did Don Majkowski or any other veteran player stand in your way in your early years as a Packer.

This circus has the potential of making the Packers the laughingstock of the NFL, almost to the magnitude that our state (Wisconsin) became the laughingstock of the nation at the annual DNR Conservation Congress in 2005, when so-called "macho" hunters voted to shoot defenseless feral cats, ostensibly to hang as "trophies" in their dens. Grant it, Wisconsin's reputation had already been tarnished by the fact that the fringe radical group, the "Freedom From Religion Foundation", is headquartered in our state's capital. Brett, please don't subject Wisconsin to any further ridicule.
