Eric Unglaub's Green Bay Packers Fan Profile

There are sports fans and then there are sports fan-attics. I am the latter...a true-die-hard Green Bay Packers fan from the 1960s. Growing up in the Seattle, Washington area there was no team to root for...and when you are 7 you would like to pick a winner - well, enter The Pack. This "disease" has grown beyond unbelievable proportions. I am married with two boys ages 9 and 7. The oldest is named Brett...duh...and the youngest is named, well, blame my wife but his name is Green (middle name Bay). I have been fortunate to go to Lambeau to a game ('98 vs. Minnesota - "we" lost). My boys are on the waiting list for tickets...maybe 30 more years or so!?! I should have purchased "stock" back in 1996 when I had the chance. We all went to Invesco Field this past October to watch $4 and The Pack break the hearts of Broncos fans - what a wonderful game to take a family to!

The latest "saga" with GB and BF seems to get "worse" every day. My personal thoughts: Stay retired...Brett is healthy, happy, wealthy, SB champ, records, etc...don't taint that cuz if hes come back there is only 1 thing that can add to his legacy - a Super Bowl win...I personally don't see that happening.
